MAKEUP IN PARIS: "D" DAY |
| by - 05/16/2010 |
 |
| |
"On the 24th and 25th of June will be held the first edition of MakeUp in Paris in a
unique venue near the Champs-Elysees, at l'Espace Cardin, 1-3 Avenue Gabriel,
Paris 8th." |
| |
A great event bringing together for the first time in the same venue the making-off
of the make-up..., developers and formulators, packaging manufacturers, converters,
full-service businesses, designers, make-up schools and make-up artists.
Already nearly 400 people have so far pre-registered online. For a very large part,
they work in marketing, development and purchasing teams and not only from the
big names in the Beauty industry but also from a number of small to medium sizes
companies. A wide variety of countries are represented ... European, of course, but
also North American and South American, Eastern countries, Russia and Asia.
Show-Room and Show-Box are full and all the Sponsors are also present
Concerning industrial partners who chose the showroom or show-box option, they are
all organizing themselves with sheer enthusiasm. Free spaces are actually no longer
available.
A number of sponsors also did not want to miss this first edition Cartografica
Pusterla, Iggesund, Pak 2000, BCM Cosmétiques, Sleever, Massilly…
Each of the 32 partners received his roadmap to organize in the best way his
presentation space and actively participate to "Make-up animations" which will
enliven these two days dedicated in staging their products with the help of the best
makeup schools and renowned Make-Up Artists such as Damien Dufresne, Max
Herlant, Takuya Motohashi and more to come ...
Featured "Make-up animations"
The principle is simple. Each of the industrial partners is going to stage his products at
a given time and during a determined period of time. Thirty make-up animations
have been set-up in the aisles of MakeUp in Paris, truly comparable to plays
showing visitors major make-up trends in the world.
Suprise and amazement will be at the turn of every aisle, every showroom or
showbox to welcome visitors.
Other main highlights
The whole team of Make Up For Ever spontaneously adopted the concept of
MakeUp in Paris. Not only by providing their assistance in the setting-up of the
"make-up spaces" of the event but also by participating in a conference to tell us
their story. Dany Sanz and Jacques Waneph will explain how a make-up virtuoso
launched successfully a training school and then a make-up line for professionals
which ended up being one of LVMH Group's biggest commercial success.
MakeUp in Paris is also very proud to welcome "CEW France", an association (law of
1901) created in 1986 bringing together 270 women who all have responsibilities in
the Beauty business.and who will organize on the occasion of MakeUp in Paris one of
their meetings. CEW France is a dynamic and active association. It's a place to find
open-mindedness, solidarity and a place to share experiences thanks in particular to
CEW's Beauty Centers who provide free beauty treatments in over 23 hospitals in
France on the theme: "Beauty helps to better live".
