Our client is a leading Retail Group across the Middle East working with more than 50 global leading retail stores including Fashion, Footwear, Cosmetics, Department Stores, Casual Dining, Home Furnishings and more. They have a large presence in all countries in the MENA region as well as in Europe.
We are now looking for a proactive, innovative, results driven and commercially aware Business Director for their fashion and footwear brands. The retail brand has excellent expansion plans for 2010 and this role will be essential in driving the growth forward across the Middle East.
This is a very exciting and challenging role for an experienced Business Director to lead the expansion plans and develop the global brands further throughout the Middle East
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
• Strategic brand development & business planning
• P&L delivery - full accountability
• Very strong operations focus
• Maintaining & developing relationships with host brands
• Team development and leadership
• Property strategy development
• Strong management/ supervision of visual merchandising and store operations

Skills:
|
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
• 10 - 15 years experience gained in Fashion and Footwear
• At least 5 years in Senior Management positions
• Strong background in Merchandising
• Directorship and development experience of large retail store chain (stores ranging from 700 to 1, 200 square metres each)
• Working at a Senior level in a renowned company, top global retail group or major multi franchise operation
• Preferably with some international experience
