Our client is a large retail company which oversees a number of wellknown brands.
This is a unique opportunity at a senior operations level. Work from Brisbane and increase your portfolio; at the same time joining a quality Australian retailer with long term prospects.
Reporting to the General Manager Store Operations this position is an integral part of the Senior Management team. The role will encompass the day to day management of the company's vision and direction as well as promoting new growth and strategic development within your region. To be successful you will have established leadership, team and financial management at an State Manager level.
Position Brief
Provide leadership, guidance, communication, development and energy to a team of Business Development Managers (Area Managers)
Lead your Business Development Managers to achieve profitable company sales, gross profit target, controllable expenses and ensure effective use of expenditure to achieve profitability and business plan objectives are met
Ensure the Business Development Managers within the division provides operational management, leadership, direction and development to an assigned group of Store Managers and their store team
Manage across three Brands of woman’s fashion from three different market demographics
Achieve profitable company sales, store and group budgets
Control expenditure and shrinkage within the division
Ensure excellent customer service and visual presentation of store and merchandise
Provide operational support and development to the Business Development Managers in their assigned region
Provide support to the General Manager Store Operations to achieve all stores operational and strategic goals.

Skills:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and advancing teams learning and development, excellent experience within and understanding of the Australian retail market and territory qualifications.
